How does my research help children?

My research helps clinicians provide effective analgesia for children in the emergency department.  It also gives parents the tools to recognize and manage pain in their children following discharge.

Research

Current Research

My research interests focus on seeking the novel approaches for the provision of analgesia to children both in the emergency department and following discharge.  These include parental educational interventions as well as therapeutics.  I'm also interested in the clinical presentation and management of paediatric appendicitis, particularly in the role of ultrasound in diagnosis.
